Sequel returns to original storyline

‘Agbara Nla: The Return’ continues the story established by the original movie, which was created by Christian filmmaker, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye.

The first ‘Agbara Nla’ was released in 1993, while its English-language version, titled ‘The Ultimate Power,’ followed in 1994.

The new production revisits the fictional community of Muwonleru, where spiritual and religious forces once again collide.

In the film, two Christian believers, Olaboye and Olatomi, leave the city and travel to Muwonleru to spread the Christian gospel..

Their mission brings them into conflict with Isawuru, a powerful herbalist who exercises significant influence in the community.

The confrontation forms the central conflict of the new production as the characters navigate questions of faith, spiritual authority and belief.
