A Nigerian lady identifed as @TDeisine detailed a heartbreaking account of how 10 naira left her starving , which has gone viral online.
In a widely circulated post, the lady disclosed that she was the sole Catholic in her neighbourhood.

Meanwhile, she attended Mass on Sunday and returned home at 9 a.m., while her neighbours had already set out for church.
According to the lady, she was out of garri and resorted to prepare oil rice which she discovered her matches had finished.
The X user noted that she could have purchased items from other shops on her way home from church, but she was unknown to the shop owners, whereas the nearby shops were closed.
”As a result, she stayed until 11 p.m. for her neighbours to return from . The helplessness was worse than the hunger“, She added.
