A Nigerian man identified as @Teemento on X (formerly Twitter) has taken a trip down memory lane, opening up on why he rented a shop for his wife.
In a widely circulated post, the X user disclosed that he tied the knot with his wife in 2018 shortly after graduating from the university.
Man Takes A Trip Down Memory Lane
According to him, he was supposed to go for NYSC, but due to strikes and age issues, he was issued an NYSC exemption certificate.
As a result, he secured a job and saved nearly two million naira.
”So, I just took it as how God wanted it. During that time, I was able to save some money because I usually did my engineering work after school, so I saved close to 2 million“, He added.
Man Rents Shop For Girlfriend
As a result of his age, he couldn’t relocate overseas, so he resolved to settle down.
He rented a shop for his girlfriend, who is now his wife. Afterwards , they tied the knot.
Reflecting on his decision, he noted, “Since then till now, we’ve been facing it together. We are blessed with two beautiful children. We are not there yet, but definitely we will get there”.
